Super Bowl 50 Prompts Trafficking Awareness Training

There is a heightening of awareness of human trafficking as Super Bowl 50 nears.  SF Airport held special training for personnel to help them recognize the signs. But one flight attendant, Donna Lynne Hubbard, already knows the signs all too well. She was once a victim of trafficking herself…

This article quotes her:  “There’s nothing glamorous about waking up in the morning and wishing you didn’t wake up because you know what the rest of the day holds for you.” She was brought from Atlantsw to LA.  “But when I woke up in a room full of men climbing on top of me one at a time, I realized that nothing is worth selling my soul, but by then, the shame and the guilt was overwhelming.”
