Man who put Nigerian worker up “for sale” online arrested in Lebanon

Lebanese authorities last week arrested a man suspected of trying to sell a Nigerian domestic worker online. The advertisement was posted in a Facebook page named “Buy and Sell in Lebanon,” a popular forum used to trade and sell items such as shoes, furniture, and food. On Thursday, April 23, Lebanon’s security forces arrested the man for violating the country’s human trafficking laws, which prohibit advertising people online. Officials said
