(WBIR – KNOXVILLE)  Local and national law agencies are working together to stop the growing issue of human trafficking…

Many call it “modern day slavery,” and Tennessee is starting to see that it is happening in their own state.  FBI Knoxville Agent Cynthia Deitle: “In sex trafficking, specifically, traffickers – or pimps – target young girls.  Traffickers know where to find the victims, and they know a lot of young kids are on these social media sites.”
