Many call it “modern day slavery,” and Tennessee is starting to see that it is happening in their own state. FBI Knoxville Agent Cynthia Deitle: “In sex trafficking, specifically, traffickers – or pimps – target young girls. Traffickers know where to find the victims, and they know a lot of young kids are on these social media sites.”
UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has unveiled what she calls “the most sweeping asylum reforms in modern times.” She plans to cut asylum numbers through strict deterrence measures, faster removals, and a small set of new “safe and legal” routes capped at only a few hundred people a year.
