The Walk For Freedom is an outward expression–a global fundraising and awareness campaign–of A21’s inward desire to free every single enslaved person on the planet.
On October 14, in London, a group of 21st century abolitionists will be walking in single-file with black shirts and yellow bandannas across our mouths.
Starting at Old Palace Yard, Westminster, the walk will make its way through some of London’s most iconic places including Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Pall Mall.
Why Walk
There are millions of people globally living in slavery today, and A21 has pledged to work until all of them are free.
With the call to action of “let’s make it personal”, they urge readers to see victims as human beings rather than mere numbers.
