Many organizations are taking part in 16 days of activism from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10, (Human Rights Day…

The goal for this initiative is to put into action a universal end to violence against women and girls. The first two items on a list of seventeen things you should understand about sex work. 1.Globally those in sex-related work experience high levels of violence. 2. Assault against those in sex work in the U.S. is also high.

Starbucks sued over complicity in trafficking and forced labor of coffee workers in Brazil

On April 24, 2025, the advocacy group International Rights Advocates (IRA) filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Starbucks. The suit alleges that the global coffee giant knowingly profited from coffee harvested through forced labor in Brazil.
