Law Students Encouraged to Fight Trafficking

Indian law students are encouraged to fight trafficking.  The Paralegal Training and Institutional Centre at Thrissur Government Law School in Kerala, India, has partnered with the District Legal Service Authority to form an Anti-Human Trafficking Club…

The club encourages society, especially law students, to help combat trafficking. Dr. Nair said, “In spite of many international and national endeavours to combat this evil, it remains unabated. The human trafficking is an offence against the Constitutional mandate of Article 23 and hence it is a Constitutional obligation for the people to spot and stop trafficking.” He added that the students should pull the trigger of anti-trafficking laws.  They should also render a helping hand to the victims.  To read the entire article, click the link below.
