Shortly after graduating college in 2006, Justin Thomas remarked to friends that he felt he was “playing grownup” and felt unequipped for the huge jump from college dorm life to the cubicle world. After grasping the basics of 401k, health insurance, taxes, and more, Justin and his wife Amy knew this knowledge needed to be shared with others and cofounded Playing Grownup.
Our work is made possible in part thanks to a generous donation from Playing Grownup. Whether you could use some help leveling-up your “adulting” skills or not, please consider paying their gift forward. Their seminars cover financial topics including practical financial literacy skills as well as relationship topics like moving back home as an adult and finding new friends.
