“Come alive, Black man!”: Telling our history of Transatlantic Slavery

In partnership with the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER) and Museums and Galleries Edinburgh, Miles Greenwood, Curator of Legacies of Slavery and Empire at Glasgow Museums, will argue that most of the ways we present the histories of Black people is through a white lens; from formal education to museums. How can we address that imbalance and ensure Black people are no longer footnotes in history?
