Imagine that there’s been an attack.  Smoke, bombs, breaking glass…then silence until the the sirens come.  People run.  First responders come to search the house you are in.  But you can’t run, because you are locked in a room…

Lack of freedom and basic rights is a way of life for thousands of migrant domestic employees throughout the Middle East. While the world watches horrified at the news reports of the struggles of migrants, few are aware of the “other migrant crisis”…that of domestic workers and forced laborers who have been coerced into low paying and inhumane jobs.
