U.S. bans cotton from biggest Uyghur Region supplier

Campaign success! U.S. Customs and Border Protection has banned goods produced by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), which is responsible for a third of China’s cotton production and is accused of widespread forced labor in the Uyghur Region. The sweeping ban also applies to any garments from other entities that use cotton harvested by the XPCC.
