43,106 signatures handed to California Attorney General calling to investigate allegations of forced labor in detention

Together with our partner, Detainee Allies, we handed in 43,106 signatures to the California Attorney General Xavier Becerra ahead of the release of his report into conditions in immigration detention centers. Whilst we welcome this report, we are disappointed that the issue of forced labor in detention is not addressed in detail. Read the full report here.
