DESCRIPTION:“The Urban Agenda Partnership on Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees\, the City of Mechelen and the Government of Flanders are organising a webinar on policies and challenges in promoting the inclusion and participation of LGBTQI+ migrants. \nThe webinar will: \n\npresent existing policies and initiatives that address the participation and inclusion of LGTBQI+ migrants in society;\nidentify existing challenges in developing appropriate policies;\nprovide opportunity for policy makers and implementers of local\, regional and national governments to learn more about each other’s different approaches.\n\nDuring the webinar\, the Rainbow Cities Network will share lessons and best practices from its global network for LGBTI equality\, and the International Organization for Migration’s Equalcity Project will present a new toolbox on creating safe(r) spaces for LGBTQI+ identifying people with a migrant background.
