SUMMARY:Art is Freedom
DESCRIPTION:Art is Freedom is Hestia’s annual art and photography exhibition\, featuring work created by survivors of modern slavery. Each year\, the exhibition marks Anti-Slavery Day on 18th October. \nReturning for the fourth year running\, Art is Freedom enables participants to creatively express themselves and their story around the theme of hope. This year we worked with two volunteer artists to create a 6-week creative arts workshop in St. Faiths Church in Brentford and a online photography workshop. Each week\, participants explored a different media and learned new skills. Alongside this\, exhibition will inform visitors of the prevalence of modern slavery in the UK today. \nThis years exhibition is available for public viewing on Paternoster Square\, behind St. Pauls. The display will run from Monday 18th October – Monday 25th October.
