DESCRIPTION:Please join us on 12 October for a webinar with the Child Marriage Learning Partners Consortium\, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In this webinar\, we will share the latest evidence and resources on child marriage from the Consortium’s work\, and discuss how these findings can support advocacy\, programming\, and further research into solutions to end child marriage. \nAt the event\, the Consortium partners will: \n– Launch a new conceptual framework on the drivers of child marriage across diverse contexts\, and how to respond \n– Introduce new hotspot mapping and political economy analyses on child marriage in several sub-Saharan African and South Asian countries \n– Highlight the scale of child marriage in the United States and why it must be included in global efforts to end the practice \n– UNICEF will also release new data on global child marriage trends during the webinar\, focusing on countries that have made the greatest progress toward ending the practice
