Essential workers or victims of forced labor? How food and beverage companies address exploitative working conditions in their supply chains
October 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
This webinar will share why, where, and how workers in food and beverage supply chains are exposed to forced labor risks and what impact the Covid-19 pandemic is having on working conditions in the sector. It will further share the findings of KnowTheChain’s third food and beverage benchmark, which assesses how the 60 largest companies are addressing forced labor risks in their supply chains. The webinar will address good practices, gaps, and changes over time in corporate practices. It will also be an opportunity to learn about KnowTheChain’s and Verité’s resources, and to have a dialogue about what additional resources would be of interest for civil society and other stakeholders.
